In 2007: Started all 12 games recording 58 total tackles with 33 solo stops and 25 assisted tackles … became the first Ichabod to return an interception for a touchdown in a post-season game as he picked off a pass returning it 27 yards for a touchdown against West Texas A&M … finished the season with three interceptions for 40 yards in return … also recorded two fumble recoveries, three pass break ups and a forced fumble … recorded eight tackles with four solo stops against Central Missouri with two tackles for loss … earned the Ichabod defensive skill player of the week following the game with Colorado Mines.

In 2006: Played in nine games after making the switch from free safety to outside linebacker … recorded six tackles with four solo stops … saw action on special teams recording two fair catch kickoffs.

In 2005: Sat out the season as a redshirt.

Background: A three-year letterman in football … a second team all-league pick at defensive back … a member of the National Honor Society and National Honor Roll.

Personal: Born on Dec. 7, 1986 … son of Greg Wilhoite and Jan Buckheim … majoring in mass media.
