Where Are They Now - Jeremiah Chapman 01/29/2009 - Music
Name: Jeremiah Chapman

Band: The Well Experience

Instruments you play: Vocals

Hometown: Jasper, GA

What kind of music do you play and what type do you like to listen to: Christian Rock and Worship Music
I listen to about everything. I mostly like Upbeat Worship Music.

When and why did music become important to you:
Music has always been an important part of my life as early as I can remember. It is a part of who I am and who God has made me to be. All aspects of my life has been surrounded by music and its message.
Do you come from a musical family and if so what do they do: My Parents were huge music lovers and we spent most of my childhood going to Christian Music Festivals and Singings of all types. My Mother was the pianist at Church and encouraged me heavily to pursue singing.
Tell us about your school experience, particularly middle and High School: Those were rough years for me. I dealt with a lot of anger issues in Middle School and it began to affect my grades. I was in a tragic accident in High School and I almost lost my Right Leg. My identity began to change and I became very bitter and was very angry at the world for my issues. After school, God used two Christian Musicians who had long hair and free spirits to disciple to me to my calling. Years later, I found healing for my lost years and God has restored all that was taken from me.

Tell us about your first time performing for a live audience: I honestly don't know when that was but it had to have been when I was a child. I can remember a time when I sang with a tape in church and I was very happy to get up there.
Who is most influential in your music (other bands):
Petra, Disciple, Michael Sweet, Guardian, Bride, Tourniquet and Scott Stapp

Where does the inspiration for your music come from:
It is solely the truth of Jesus Christ and what He did for us on the cross. Without Christ we have no life.

Have you been a member of other bands and if so tell us about those experiences:
I was a Manager of a band called Nunavus and later began singing for them. I was really Young but made lifelong relationships and was a great start to an incredible Ministry. I also sang with a side project I insist is not dead called JamJau (Jesus and Me Jesus and U) It is an intimate soft rock Worship project with some lifelong friends. We recently jammed a bit. Nothing like coming home to friends you consider Brothers.
What goals do you as an individual and a band have:
Our goal is to become a fulltime Ministry. To provide concerts and Youth Concerts with the Gospel of Jesus Christ in small towns and struggling areas. Our overall goal is to reach as many as we can with the life saving message of Jesus Christ.
Tell us about a teacher who made a big difference in your life: Coach Glenn Patterson was a real inspiration to me. Even though he was a Basketball Coach and I was injured he stilled made a point to inspire and reach out to me regardless of my bitterness and he was outspoken in his faith and I knew it was because of his Christian love for me that he did this. He will never know how much he meant to me.

Did you play sports in school, if so what were they and what is your best memory from them:
I always played basketball earlier in school and I know Coach an Upward Basketball Team! Go Cheetahs!
When I recovered from my accident I returned to Tae Kwan Do and actually competed for a while. Not bad for someone who should lose their leg and never walk again.
What's going on with the band now:
We are continue to play more and more places. We are playing Churches, Music Venues, Festivals, Bike Rallies and Youth Events.
New CD: Real
Tour: The Real Tour
Concerts: The Venue in Dalton, GA Feb. 7

Do you have CD's out now and if so what are they and where can people get them:
Real is our newest release and is available at TheWellExperience.com, Amazon, itunes and most online retailers/
Where can people go on-line to find out more about the band, your music, and how to book you for a show:
www.TheWellExperience.com or myspace.com/thewellexperience

What are some of your interests outside of music:
I am married to my girlfriend for life, Leah. We have two daughters, Arriah and Hannah and our son, Noah. I occassionally have time between ball practices and work to go to the river and funyak in the Summer. I also am the Youth Pastor at Cool Springs Baptist Church in Tate, GA. We have a thriving Youth Ministry that is really on fire for Jesus Christ!!!

Anything else you would like to add: I am available to speak as well. I have recently spoken at an FCA event, a Youth Ministry event and several concerts. Call 770-298-4418 for booking.

Where Are They Now - Melvin Klaudt - Great Great Grandson of Chief Sitting Bull 11/04/2008 - Music
I was Born on Fort Berthold Indian Reservation, North Dakota. My early years were spent on our family ranch on the reservation known as the Little Soldier Ranch. In the middle 1940's, the US Corp of Engineers purchased our family's acreage to put in the first dam on the Missouri River to control flooding and develop power. Our family then began their trek south, eventually landing in the Atlanta Georgia Area. We have made Atlanta home for over 55 years.

I married Margie Terrell in 1953 and have a son named Michael and a daughter named Melody. We are the proud grandparents of 2 grandaughters.

I am the great great grandson of Chief Sitting Bull and great grandson of two Custer Scouts, Little Soldier & One Feather. These historical figures participated in what is now known as, "Custer's Last Stand".

I sang with my family the Klaudt Indian Family for over 40 years, retired from Gospel Singing in the Mid-1970's, and have been involved in real estate and construction until the end of 2007. I am the administrator for the "Klaudt Indian Memorial Foundation" that presents scholarships to Native Americans. My responsibility is to see that there is always enough funds in the Foundation to keep talented students in college. Testimonies of these scholarship recipients can be viewed on our family web site: www.klaudtmemorial.com

Since retiring and closing our construction and real estate company, I am involved in speaking in churches, on television shows, radio interviews, schools, and public & civic forums. My personal speaking ministry is geared to spiritual concerns of our American Indian Peoples. It is a strong simple salvation message of how Indians historically and present day fit into the Body of Christ.

Also, having been married for 55 years, I speak on the merits of successful unity of marriage. Think about this: I am a RED-man, from the RED-rock area of the North Dakota Badlands, now living in the RED-clay region of Georgia, and married to a southern RED-neck. That looks like a formula for disaster. How did I survive 55 years? By living with a Lady that has a like passion for souls and ministry. I like to say, I have "A Purpose Driven Wife"

I have written articles that have been published by major newspapers, internet sources, magazines and Native American periodicals. I have received special recognition by 6 State Governors, in the Atlanta Country Music Hall of Fame, and have been given a Lifetime Achievement Award by the Atlanta Society of Entertainers. I am also a Honorary Lifetime Member of the Georgia PTA's.

In viewing, what and how present day civilization has deteriated, I thank God I am still "Uncivilized".

My personal relationship with Christ is primary in my life. Everything else in my life spins around my ability to pick up my cross on a daily basis and continue my walk with Christ.

Steelheads down Gladiators 5-3 in opener 4/28/04 - Hockey
This is unfamiliar territory all the way around. The Gwinnett Gladiators aren’t used to having to defend home ice to start a series and the Idaho Steelheads aren’t used to leading a series after the opener.
